<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Hey y'all </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Our Thankgiving was pretty legit. We had 4 dinners all from different countries and man, we were stuffed! We had Mongolian for lunch (the husbands name literally translates to Horse of God) Mexican in the afternoon, American at dinner, and Phillipano for night. It was really good! I have no clue how we kept it down though. I was definitely queasy by the 2nd one. Only in Chicago :)</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Speaking of which we also went to this legit Spanish ward International Night with plenty of dances and food from all around the world (cough basically only from South America cough) It was super fun and had insanely good tamales.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">We went Black Friday store contacting which honestly was boring and super tame. There's 2.8 million people in Chicago but there was no one at this mall and no one wanted to listen. It was quite sad. Although we found these rockin' Lady Gaga boots and had to take a picture. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">We taught plenty of PNIs (now new investagators yay!) and contacted a lot this week. It still blows my mind of how many people God puts in our path that is perfect for the gospel and they have no work so we can visit them whenever!! Like for example, I felt like we needed to talk to an older man at a bus stop. After a bit I noticed he had a Utah Shakesphere Festival jacket (I used to go to those plays ALL the time when I was a kid). Sure enough was THE director of Shakespearan Festival and he knows all about Mormons. Or my comp noticed an older Philippano lady on the bus, sat down and talked. After a half hour, apparently her husband recently died and she was just thinking about what happens after death. My comp gave the entire Plan of Salvation on the ride there and were meeting with her next week. She's absolutely ideal for this ward because theres 7-8 older widows. Definitely God sent. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">God is so merciful to us. I love the iconic verse "ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be open unto you." Life is great. Im off to the Zoo. Have a great week </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Sister Emily Coley </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">True to the Faith: Happiness and Service "Others seek only to have fun in life. With this main goal, they allow temporary pleasure to distract them FROM lasting happiness. They rob themselves of enduring joys of growth, service and hard work." "You will find that the true key to happiness is to labor for the happiness of others." I love this idea and its SO true. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Photos 1. <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Hi everyone! </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Happy Thanksgiving!! Enjoy spending time with the people who care about you the most: your family. I will most likely be tracting and feeding the homeless that day. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">This week was transfers which always boggles my mind of what is life and how everything gets turned around. My new companion is from Gilbert, Arizona (she even knows my cousin) and loves talking to people. She's also was recently called to be Mongolian speaking which means we go to Mongolian less active members homes and they slowly teach her (and Im trying to learn too. Mainly because Im bored out of my mind but its a hard language to follow). The crazy part is I think the Lord keeps cancelling our appointment with investagators by having them become randomly uninterested, sick or super busy just to make time for my companion to learn Mongolian. We will be prepared to teach a lesson then they cancel on us last minute. We call up one of our Mongolian friends and that was the only time they could meet up this week. The Lord definitely works in mysterious ways </span><img alt="😄" class="CToWUd" data-goomoji="1f604" goomoji="1f604" src="https://mail.google.com/mail/e/1f604" style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px; margin: 0px 0.2ex; max-height: 24px; vertical-align: middle;" /><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Nothing really spectacular happened this week, just finding, teaching and recontacting. A cool moment weve been working with a heavy Catholic man named Patrick who visits his crippled wife in the nursing home that is 2 hours away from his home. He found the missionaries because he heard that we have the ability to heal people. This week after many prayers and fasting (he even fasted with us) we had a break through. His issue was he ran to his Catholic priest whenever we say anything thats different than the Catholic church believes and we debate a lot. Our lesson was straight up the priesthood authority, the Aposity and to stop running to your Catholic priest and just pray. Needless to say, we were praying hard. We walked him through the Bible with several scriptures that proclaims the apostles were given "power and authority" to teach, heal, cast out devils, baptized, etc. We then came to the problem of "there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism" so which church has it? And to my surprise, without hesitation he said "this one, right here." Upon further asking him, he says "I did want you asked and prayed this morning. I dont know what came over me when I said that, but a wave of electricity filled my heart. I know this one is true and I will be baptized." This is the true church. Only this church can bring you happiness and joy that will swell within you thats undeniable. This church sure ain't easy to live, but its the best way to live your life. </span><br />

November 5-12 500 Testimonies Later:</div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Hi everyone! <br />
<br />
This week was full of difficulties and challenges but I love challenges
therefore it was a good week for me. We have transfers this week and I
learned Ill be getting Sis Pruitt whos Mongolian speaking. It's
definitely bitter sweet. It snowed for the first time of the year too! I
laughed and threw snowballs at Sis Andrews. It dropped into the high
10s but with my new coat and determination, I had fun. <br />
<br />
Two and half weeks ago, we received 500 cards inviting people to the
Downtown church building in which there was a interfaith concert, tours
and the dedication. Sis Andrews and I made a goal that we will not only
pass out all 500 but bear our testimonies with each one... it was hard!
At the start of this week we had about half of our deck and our week was
full of teaching and helping with the Open house itself. We prayed we
will be able to find people and time so we can accomplish our goal and
have the best turnout for these events. Sure enough it snowed which
means we walked to each appointment or used the train. It really was a
miracle. Every soul we saw, we invited them straight away to our events.
Whenever we saw a family or big group we immediately jumped at the
opportunity and handed out one to each adult! (we even contacted a gang
in a public place which was quite funny. They all thought going to a
concert would be "so dope." little did they know it was gospel choirs
singing opposed to rap and rock 😅) I was so thrilled and humbled when
we passed out our last card to an elder man who said he was looking for a
new church. Without God, we never wouldve found the time. I'm so
grateful we could do it. <br />
<br />
So I've been praying and hoping Id stay in this area so then I can help
with the new Downtown building for months. And when the Zone leaders
personally asked us to help tour people around it for two days, I was
smiling all day long. I was SO excited. We were one of eight out of the
67 companionships in my mission who had this opportunity ....and we
couldnt go. The night before my companion was throwing up every two
hours and had a high fever. So very, very reluctantly, I told her to
sleep, called a replacement and call former investagators and less
actives for several hours. It was brutal but luckily John and Erlinda
wanted to go to the tour on Sunday and my comp was feeling better. We
took selfies, ate cookies and marveled at this beautiful building. Good
stuff. <div dir="auto">
<br />
This work can be hard but its well worth it when you count the miracles
and focus on them. I know that this the church true with every fiber of
being. Although things are hard now, we will be lifted up in the last
day in endless joy if we will just hold on. Have a great week y'all :)<br />

Moroni 4:2-3 The Sevenity member who dedicated the Clark Street building
said that the most quoted scripture is the Sacrament prayer. How bless
are we to gather together every week to renew our covenants with God and
feel of his everlasting healing and peace. <div dir="auto">

Hey y'all! <br />
<br />
Shout out to my big brother Tyler whose birthday is on Sunday. I love you!! <br />
<br />
Erlinda was baptized!!! It was so beautiful. She was my very first Book
of Mormon referral and ever since we made contact with her, she had a
special place in my heart. Gah, I love her so much. She has such a
powerful testimony on how God knows and loves her. People filled the
whole Relief Society room and everyone celebrated with her. She
accientally slipped the first time but I felt the Spirit when she came
up out of the water the second. Ahh Im still shocked it happen. She then
bore her testimony in Fast and Testimony meeting and it was powerful!
These are definitely the moments worth fighting for! I love her.<br />
<br />
Halloween was SO much fun! I felt like I was trick or treating but
receiving no candy. It was great. So this area is filled with apartments
and is really sketchy at night; therefore, no parent will ever let
their kids knock on stranger's door. So families go trick or treating at
stores, which was perfect for us to spread the joyful news of families
can be together forever. We simply walked up to a family, fan-girl over
their costumes, take a picture with an invitation to the Downtown
building, testify and shared the picture to the parents through
text/Facebook Messenger. It was SO easy to get numbers, we LOVED it. We
got Spiderman, Woody, Donut, Elsa, Kissing Booth, husky (shout to my kid
brother who was that too) Mario, etc. Ive never had more fun contacting
and some pictures are below. <br />
<br />
We had Zone Conference too. In which I really understood the gift of
prophecy during that meeting. The record in this mission for baptisms in
a month is 21, and President has visioned this mission raising that
number not just to 22 or 28 but to 36. His White Christmas challenge is
that each ward (theres 36 of them) will have a baptism in December. As
crazy as it sounds right now, I know that we are obedient to a T on
every rule, it will happen. We can find another person like Erlinda and
others can too, despite the area. I really trust that itll happen if we
have the exceedling faith, obedience and work ethic that Nephi, Moses
and Captain Moroni had then we can move mountains to obtain this goal.
Im fired up :) Have an awesome week! <br />

<br />
Hi y'all! <br />
<br />
This week was so amazing! My zone was invited to take a private tour
around the new six story church building right in the heart of Chicago
(its near Navy Pier and Trump Tower for all of you Chicagoians 😉) with
our Mission President and a member of the Seventy. This building is full
of miracles. For seven years, the church members has been going to
churcn in a Catholic school building with no A/C or heater on weekends
and now theyre given the most high-tech church builiding in the world
(well for now). They built an outdoor courtyard with plants and benchs,
every room has a window view even the pews to recline (dead serious, its
a Chicago rule to provide big seats for people over 250 llbs.) Man, its
so sick. Its my dream to serve there. Weve been doing all we can to
invite people to the concert, tours and dedication on Nov. 12th. Weve
got investagators going! Im so pumped<br />
<br />
We had a wonderful tithing lesson with our retired Philippino
investagator, Erlinda. In September she dropped us the night before her
baptism because she doesnt believe she should give 10% of her increase.
So needless to say, I was super worried and cautious to talk about it
but wow, when someone is truly ready for baptism theyll do everything
thats asked of them. Before we even started going, she said she already
has planned out how much money every week she'll take out so by the end
of the month itll be her 10%. She concluded "This is a huge sacrifice
and I pray Ill be able to survive. But I love the Lord and I know he
will never leave me bankrupt." The Spirit was so strong and we all were
crying through our testimonies of this church. Then she was given a
priesthood blessing by her Australian LDS boyfriend. Shes so much
stronger in the gospel than before. It reminds me of Ether 12:6 where
you recieve no miracle until after the trial of your faith. Please pray
for Erlinda. If all goes well she'll be baptized on Saturday.<br />
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
We
also had the annual ward Halloween party which was really fun. Sis
Andrews dressed up like Tiana from Princess and the Frog (so basically
just a green dress and carried a plastic frog around). And I dressed up
like Cinderella (and just wore a blue dress and with one shoe). It was
fun and the kids loved it. There was a Chili cook off, a cake walk,
mummy wrapping games and trunk or treat. Quite a few of our investagator
families showed up and really enjoyed it. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Anyway, happy Halloween! Have a great week</div>

<br />
Hi y'all :) <br />
<br />
I hope you all had fun over Fall Break! I love you each of you so much and thank you for all of your support this far. <br />
<br />
We have had such a great week! My President has been really going om to
us about "catching the vision" of what we can do to help our areas
really grow. Specifically he has asked us to really ask the Lord how
many people we are supposed to find here and baptize here and do
whatever it takes to make that goal. In my area it seems like were
constantly flowing with adding new investagators and dropping old and
its constantly flowing with lessons but few have been ready to really
keep some commandments. So my comp and I really talked, prayed and set
appropriate goals to achieve it. Afterwards miracles just started to
flow in. Its amazing what you can do with a vision. <br />
<br />
One of the miracles is a former investagator of ours of about a month,
randomly popped up at sacrament meeting. We had a lesson with her and
with tears flowing down her face she said "I have seen my life with this
church and without it, and Ive never seen such a big difference in my
life." Shes on date for the 3rd of November and I couldnt have been
happier to see her. I truly was reminded of the prodigal son and how
happy the father mustve been. <br />
<br />
Another miracle, weve been teaching this single mom with three children
all under the age of 6 and are usually running around everywhere. In
this particular lesson, Ive never seen her children so still, calm and
mesmerized. We felt prompted to invite her to be baptized and her cute
two sons jumped up and said "I want to be baptized" and "me too". This
mom has taken that as a sign that this church has a strong power in it. <br />
<br />
Another is during our Weekly Planning (its when you plan and make goals
for all of your investagators for the next week for 3 hours) we were
going through PNI (potential investagators) and we couldnt get ahold of
anyone or no one was interested. We were quickly bored and quickly
dreaded each phone call. I then remembered our vision and promise to God
and said a quick prayer. Sure enough the next four people on our list
which we havent gotten ahold of for 3 weeks got back to us and are now
pretty solid investagators. <br />
<br />
God really is a God of miracles. All he wants to do is to help us and
see us grow. And when we come to him with goals, he will manifest
himself unto us and help us grow more. Have a great week y'all! <br />

Hi y'all :) <br />
<br />
Happy Fall!! Shout out to the best little brother in the world, Kevin, whose 11th birthday is on Thursday. Happy Birthday Kid!! <br />
<br />
So we taught a lot and laughed a lot this week. It was just a great week
in general. We once again got soaked (Ive never been rained on so hard
before in my life) but we were smiling through it. I love challenges,
they show you what your made of. Although, some members reported that
theres 2 ft. of water in their house (I totally believe it) so weve been
helping them out. It's been fun! <br />
<br />
We went Muslim contacting over the weekend (you know to spice it up) and
found a man named Arshad. We started talking about how "God is the same
yesterday, today and forever" therefore God would call a prophet today
and he really was fascinated. Although for our first appointment, we
showed up at this tea shop and he was there with his minister who has a
MBA in Finance and PhD in Religion.... needless to say we were scared 🤣
We started teaching through the pamphlet and it turned into a lively
but peaceful conversation on the similarities we have with Islam. It
definitely changed my perception and we really agreed on a lot of
things. We got to Joseph Smith and I just felt like I should bear my
testimony and wow, the Spirit really confirmed to me that what I was
saying was true. I started to feel about for this minister who has study
religion all his life but still doesnt understand. We texted Arshad
afterwards and he said "You know there's a difference when you teach
compared to him. Call me anytime for a Bible study." We were super
excited. <br />
<br />
Other than that, weve just been teach the same folks and inviting more
and more people to Christ. Weve had a lot of support to from free
dinners to someone heartattacking our bedroom after a very cold and
rainy day. I want y'all to know that I know that Joseph Smith is a true
prophet of God. That he was the man who was humble enough to ask God a
simple question and by doing so has changed millions of lives. One of my
all time favorite lyrics is "Millions shall know Brother Joesph again."
I testify that he restored Jesus Christ church and Im proud to testify
of him everyday. Have a great week y'all :) <div dir="auto">

<br />
So this week has been a bit slower than usual. A lot more cancelled
appointments than usual but thats alright. Life happens :) Transfers
happened this week and I have the privilege to train Sis Andrews, who is
a ray of sunshine. She's a convert from a really rough town called
Petersburg, Virigina and has been thrown into a lot of scary situations
in her lifetime. Her testimony is so pure because of these moments and
Im grateful to have her.<br />
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Sis
Robertson and I went from the airport to Downtown with the new
missionaries last week and it was so much fun! These new missionaries
have so much heart and a powerful testimony! I was so humbled and proud
watching them contact for the first time on the train and actually hand
out several Book of Mormons. Their high spirits and cheer definitely
reminded me of how much I LOVE being a missionary and how much Ive
grown.</div>
<div dir="auto">
<br />
My testimony of endurance has significantly grown through this
experience. We went to do a Bible referral at this 4 story apartment. So
naturally we decided to knock on every door. As we spiraled down the
floors, we got some serious door slams and even a few bible bashers. We
made it to the first level knocked on one of the last doors and the most
scariest looking guy Ivd met walked out. We started talking then he
called his wife to come over (who looks just as scary). She stopped in
her tracks, then came to me so that we were a foot away and said "You
were in my dreams last night. God told me two ladys were going to appear
and teach me about Christ." Weve had a few lessons with them since and
were excited.<br />
<br />
Ive been so grateful for the warm weather lately. Although Saturday that
wasnt the case. It started dumping rain on us for 4-5 hours and we had
nothing to do but find. Yay. Luckily we actually saw so many miracles
happen. We went inside of a popular grocery store and started to sneakly
contact some people. We actually got talking to the baker (I used to
work as a bakery assistant so I couldn't help it) and she gave us a
cupcake. We have an appointment with her this Wednesday too! People
definitely didnt want to drive in the rain so there were a lot of bored
people who just needed to talk. And in times when we were outside
drenched from head to toe and the wind was beating us over, I couldnt
help but smile. My companion and I started singing primary songs and we
were so happy. It reminded me of that quote "Saints can be happy in
every situation." Im so grateful that I know that God loves each of us
so much therefore we dont have to worry. We can be joyful. <br />
<br />Have a very happy Fall Break :)<br />

<div dir="auto">
Hey y'all <br />
<br />
Wow this week has flown by. I swear it should be Wednesday! We had a lot
of funny moments this week. And Im SO excited but nervous, we got
transfer calls yesterday and Im going to be a trainer in this area!!
This like never happens with people just out of training. But I know God
will help us every step of the way and through Him I can do it! <br />
<br />
Easily the best part of the week was Conference! I noticed that as a
missionary so many promptings and revelations came to me during
conference to tell my investagators. In fact my notes are filled with
more things for them that me! Two of the sessions we got to watch them
with our retired Philippino couple which warmed my heart when I saw them
taking notes! I loved every talk, and I highly encourage everyone to
read through them again. <br />
<br />
Last Pday we went exploring in the city which easily is my favorite
thing ever! We were towards the ghetto side and found this heavily
graffiti bus, so of course we start taking pictures of it! In process, a
bus driver came out and naturally we start contacting him. Apparently
we ran into a local hardcore jazz band called the Reggaes. My companion
asked if we could share a message, and the next thing we know were
teaching the Restoration into a greasy microphone to a popular heavily
tattooed jazz group in a graffiti school bus! They cracked us up too!
It was easily the best and funniest Restoration lesson Ive given.<br />
<br />
And of course we did what any foolish missionary does and locked
themselves out of their apartment. So funny story we had our apartment
inspections with Senior Sisters and by habit locked the door when we
rushed out to greet them. When we came back sure enougn our front and
back door is completely locked. So we tried everything. Bobby Pins,
credit cards, nametag pins, pocket knife, praying really hard anything
to pick the lock. Finally an idea dawned on my companion that we have a
broken lock on our bathroom window. So a car jack, a severly bent soup
can, two rough looking rocks and 20 prayers later, we were able to budge
the window barely enough for me to climb through the window and unlock
the door! We were laughing by the end and definitely taught us a lesson.
<br />
<br />
Also this whole week, weve been worrying about our food supply. By
Friday night, weve reduced ourselves to cans and we started to pray we
can make it to Tuesday. A half hour later, a member texted us that shes
feeding us Jimmy Johns for lunch. Then we showed up to watch Conference
with our investagators and they fed us Phillipano food. Sure enough on
Sunday, a ward member called us and said she felt prompted to invite us
over to Sunday dinner. We also got a call from President asked if we
could help them tour the new missionaries around Chicago and theyll fed
us breakfast, lunch and dinner on Monday. But the coolest miracle of all
is we were bus contacting this tatooed, tough-looking guy. He wasnt
interested but stops us mid-sentence and says "I strongly feel like I
need to give you this. Youll appreciate it more than I do." Gives us a
candy apple and hops off the bus!! <br />
<br />
God knows our desires and needs and will always bless us if we do our
part to keep the commandments and serve his children. I love God so
much, and Im so grateful for everything and everyone He's personally
given me. Anyway Ive got to go bring some hope and confidence into some
new missionaries. Have a great week, Im so grateful for each of you :) <br />

Hey y'all <br />
<br />
Sorry for the title, my President asked us to title our emails that for a good laugh 😅 We got flu shots at Zone Conference<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
And
shout out to my big brother Tyler who got engaged over the weekend!!!
Ty, I love you and Nikayla welcome to the family! Anyone who can make my
brother smile as much as you do, is already a sister to me! </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br />
Zone Conference was incredible as always. President was telling us all
of these statistics and numbers of new investagators, on date, baptisms
etc. And apparently the record for this mission is 21 baptisms/month.
But President started to prophesied (which is beyond cool) that we can
double that number but we must beware of Satan and believe in the
impossible. It was super awe inspiring and Sis Robertson and I have been
worker harder than ever before. And sure enough weve found some humble
people and have quite a few first lessons this week that Im excited for.
<br />
<br />
I was amazed by how personal Womens Conference was. Anyone (male or
female) who needs a boast of self confidence, watch it. I loved how it
was all about self-worth and reminding us that we are children of God.
As a missionary, you talk about that all the time when you go finding,
but it really hit me by how powerful and life-changing it is. The Relief
Society had a party before and we got to snack during the Conference,
it was great! <br />
<br />
Anyway, have a wonderful Conference weekend this week! I want to add my
testimony of how bless we are to have a prophet on this Earth and get
guidance and direction from God through Thomas S Monson. I sustain and
support him and the twelve. They truly are inspired men. In comparison
to the world, only a handful know that simple truth. We are so blessed
to believe it, so share it! Anyway I love you all. Have a spiritual
week. </div>

<div dir="auto">
Hey y'all <br />
<br />
This week has been the biggest highs and biggest lows I've ever
experience in my life. And Id do it all again in a heartbeat because of
how close I felt to Christ. Like everything in life there's opposition in
all things. There's happy times and then there's sad times. But in the
end, you can always choose to be joyful because Christ is always
standing by you ready to help. This week was very challenging and trying
but it doesn't matter now. This week was filled with joy and miracles. <br />
<br />
Our President allowed us to go to the temple which was exactly what I
needed. I forgot what a sweet peaceful Spirit the temple can bring. As
soon as I saw a glimpse of Angel Moroni, I felt so much love burn within
me as if I was going home after a long vacation. All those who live
close to the temple, I strongly encourage going. I truly believe that
the temple contains a hope and joy that cannot be found anywhere else in
the world. The temples provides the best atmosphere to experience a
glimpse of what heaven is like. It is my fondest dream for my
investigators to experience that. Game on!<br />
<br />
Elder Renlund came on Friday and we were all so excited and he do
not disappoint. I was the first one to shake his hand and within those
few seconds I knew that he cared and really loved me and appreciated all
the work and sacrifice I've put in. I was in tears, I felt the Spirit so
strong. There were 3 Seventy members and it was interesting because
they all talked about having unshakable faith in Christ and how that
leads to joy. Elder Renlund explained that if you are always working
hard to be the best child of God you can be and have a positive attitude
in every situation throughout your life, you will know Jesus Christ's
personality, ambitions, and be filled with incomprehensible joy. I want
that so bad. It was life-change. Email me if you want my notes at all :)<br />
<br />
Sure enough, with so much joy and good, rouh things happen. One hour
after Elder Renlund talked to us, one of our Filipino investigator went
into her baptismal interview, decided she couldnt and wouldnt pay
tithing, gave us back the Book of Mormon and all of the pamphlets and
dropped us. We were stunned. I was really sad but I remembered what
Elder Renlund said about having joy in every circumstance and determined
that she wasn't quite ready. But there's so many people in this area who
are ready, and Sis Robertson and I just went contacting people as if our
life depends on it. We talked to everyone in our path and we sure
found some faithful people. Satan will do everything he can to distract,
belittle and cloud our thoughts with darkness, but we can choose to
fight him. And when we do, the heavens are opened and we are filled with
light. <br />
<br />
Also I am incredibly grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost because it
probably saved me a trip to the hospital. My front brakes and gear shift
is completely bent out, so the past week I've been going on the same
gear rattling everywhere and its been taking me a lot longer to stop. On
Saturday I woke up thinking I need to go to the bike store.
Unfortunately it was a Saturday and Mexican holiday so its prime time to
go finding. My trainer and I discussed and sure enough we made the long
trek to the bike store. With gears running and brakes in working we
were riding down the road when a car came speeding down an alleyway.
Thankfully, I stopped in time with 6 inches to spare. Always always
listen to the Spirit :) you'll never be wrong!<br />
<br />
Also this week our mission was 1 of 12 missions (out of the 426 out
there) to pilot the use of smartphones! From now on, people entering my
mission will buy Galaxy J3 Prime phones instead of tablets. This means
we get a hot spot with 2 GB of data and copy/paste in text messages
which is super helpful. But where much is given, much is wanted. Our
President says that if our numbers don't increase then the church will
not continue this idea of smartphones for future missionaries. I'm so
grateful and very humble because I know this mission can be worthy of
this temptation. And I know as we use this tool wisely, our areas will
start to blossom before our eyes (also Elder Renlund said it would too).
:) <br />
<br />
Have the best week ever!! Sorry this message was long and preach-y but I really felt like I should testify :)<br />

<br />
This week has been a very typical week. We taught a lot of lessons and
members are so thrilled to come with us! We had 10 come out with us this
week which is such a miracle! The work has been good. Also we found out
that Elder Renlend and his wife will be coming to our mission this
Friday and weve been so excited and have worked really hard to be
exactly obedient. We want him to come to our mission and feel a
difference. Im beyond excited.<br />
<br />
I went on exchanges with Sis Malstrom who is the perfect little ball of
joy and light. It was so refreshing to get out of my area. Her area is
the beautiful skyscraper city of Chicago, so we got to go contacting
down the lakeshore of Michigan (it looks just like the beach), eat very
fancy and authentic Chicken Alferdo and teach on the 40th floor of an
apartment building downtown. I was in heaven! I definitely am in love
with the city and its probably my dream area despite mission work being
extremely hard there. But I still love my area and the people here. <br />
<br />
Below is a picture of our new investagator Fan. We were on the train and
started to talk about how God blesses us every hour of every day. Fan
was bewildered and got super excited. She asked, do you really believe
that? We said yes we see evidence of it everywhere. She then got excited
and said "Im on a study abroad from China. In my town, people call
believers of God foolish but Ive always believed that God knows and
loves me. Youre the first people Ive ever met that believe that too, can
I get your number so we can talk more?!" Weve met with her twice now.
Below is us at the church building in Logan Square that has a parking
garage with the church floor on top. Fan bought us a Chinese Tiger,
which I guess is the symbol of friendship, loyalty and trust. It been an
absolute pleasure teaching her the simplest truth of God and I know God
placed her perfectly in our path. <br />
<br />
Last night was scary, the President invited us to dinner. I was so
grateful and excited but very few missionaries get to go and spend one
on one time with his family and I was so nervous I would accidentally
break a rule :) But it was one of the greatest nights ever. President
Bingham is really good at making you feel welcome and warm. We received
so much wisdom and personalized counsel to be the best missionaries, it
was extraordinary! It made me think about how much love Jesus Christ
has for all of us. Hes willing to spend personal time with each of us,
so then we can build and grow. But we must be willing to look for it and
receive it. <br />
<br />
Have an amazing week, and let me know if theres anything I can do to help you!! <br />

<br />
Happy Labor Day! I hope you all enjoy this awkward holiday where you randomly get to relax.<br />
<br /> Its been a long rough week but great things are happening here! It
was New Missionary Training on Friday which you always get the greatest
advice from it. We talked about how Satan can eliminate agency and how
really we as missionaries are there to give Gods children the best
chance at choosing good over evil again. It really opened my eyes to how
much were constantly fighting the natural man in us and how crucial it
is that we keep choosing God. It was fascinating.<br />
<div dir="auto">
<br />
I love our investagators so much! I love seeing how young and new they
are to the gospel an how much they grow over time. Were teaching a
retired Filipano named Erlinda who will hopefully be baptized on the
23rd and asked her to pray. And it was the most beautiful (and very
long) prayer where she blessed each one of my siblings, my home back in
Utah, bore her testimony of how she needs Jesus Christ everyday, etc.
etc. and I felt the Spirit so strong. She also calls us her adopted
daughters (sorry Mom 😉). I love her. Or like we were teaching John
about missionary work and he said "what mission work must be easy."
Then turns to our member "will you go to church tomorrow?" The member
said heistantly "Yes.." Then he turns back to us and says "See Im at
100% so far." We were dying. I love them SO much. <br />
<br />
Holy cow then church is always nuts but especially this time. Weve been
teaching this retired medical professors couple in which they just want
hardcore evidence which is the opposite of faith. We invited them to be
baptized last week and they werent interested. Then we couldnt get a
lesson with them this week, so we were fearing the worst. Then sure
enough we see them in sacrament! We started to get excited then we
pulled them aside afterwards and they said weve decided we want to be
baptized!!! We feel the difference in our home when you leave, we feel
it here over our faith, and we are closer as a couple because of you two
girls! We were ecstatic! <br />
<br />
Oo and cool story, we were spanish contacting and meet this guy named
Rudopho who the second we made contact just went on and on about his
love for Jesus Christ. I love hearing that except my trainer and I know a
handful of Spanish words between the two of us. I was amazed though
because while this guy was speaking some of his words start to click in
my mind and started to get sentences formed. I then bore my testimony
and actually managed to set him an appointment with the Spanish Elders.
Afterwards I couldnt remember what I said but my trainer was stunned.
She asked if I knew Spanish. Man, the Holy Ghost is so real. Oh my
goodness then at church we actually saw him!! Theres a picture of us
below. We were so excited! That like never happens. <br />
<br />
Anyway so many great things just keep happening. I love being out on a
mission its been the most rewarding experience ever thus far. Theres
some pictures below of us at the Lincoln Zo. The giraffes and alpecas
were hilarious and by far the best. Have a great week! <br />

Im so happy right now, it doesn't feel real! What a rush!<br />
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
So
its been a crazy week here in Chicago! At 9 AM on Thursday we got a
call from President telling us hes doing any emergency transfer and now
we will have 3 sets of missionaries in this ward! He then proceed to ask
us where he should put the boarders. We met with the other missionaries
and President really let us decide where the lines will be. He didnt
say anything the whole meeting except, "lets pray if its right."Sure
enough when we prayed, the Spirit knew exactly where it should be and we
stayed with our orignal plan. My area is now a third of what it was.
But the blessing is we kept all of our solid investagators whos
progressing. We didnt lose any of them. That meeting really strengthen
my testimony. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
In
addition, weve been laboring over this baptism. We invited anyone and
everyone to it and sure enough a third of the ward was there and most of
our investagators as well! By Wednesday night everything was in place
and we were pumped. Although, Friday night was probably one of the
longest nights of my life. Two days before his baptism, John
accidentally clicked an ad that had heavy anti-LDS stuff on it. It
really shook his faith and totally scared us. The stuff in the articles
were full of half-lies and would look offical to any non-member. In our
lesson with him, at first we fought like lions going back and forth.
Until the thought came to me to just listen. We let him talk. And
suddenly everything was calmer and peaceful. We then all worked together
and discuss the ideas on the website and compared it to the simple
truths of the gospel. We all bore testimonies, even John, then we left
and prayed for hours. One of our members that came is named Seth. He has
been inactive for years but has recently came back because theyre
having a baby. The Bishop has asked us to bring him to lessons to try to
spark a fire in him. And boy is he burning bright now. He stayed behind
and talked it through with John until midnight!! John knew it was true
through the Spirit and scriptures Seth showed him. John has always been
solid but that really tested his faith and he said that know he doesnt
have even a particle of doubt because Satan was really fighting against
him. Really cool experience. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
I
know this church is true. When John came up from the water, there was
so much light and understanding in his eyes. Afterwards he was telling
everyone there that this church is true multiple times. I admit I was
crying, I was so happy and grateful that God allowed me whos only been
in the field for 8 weeks to find and teach a man whos been searching for
over two decades. This work is so great and full of purpose. The gospel
has the power to heal any broken heart.To all my mission friends out
there, every heartache, every rejection, every effort is absolutely,
completely worth it. "Great shall be your joy if you bring one soul unto
me." I hope you all have a great week! </div>

<br />
Good luck to those going back to school, Im sure glad Im not! 😋<br />
<br />
So I admit this week has been rough but extraordinary. On Monday night,
we noticed red bumps lining our arms and legs. Sure enough we have bed
bugs! Weve been wrestling with them all week by using medience, spray
and cleaning our sheets every other day at the Laundromat. Its been a
long battle but I think were winning ...slowly :) Luckily weve made some
good contacts at the Laundrymat because theyre not going anywhere for
the next hour either :) (muwhaha) <br />
<br />
In addition, my tire went flat on Saturday evening and every bike store
was closed by then. So weve been walking, hitching rides and using our
Pday at this bike store. But weve been blessed so much from it. Members
have really helped us out and we got to serve some people with a fuming
engine. Through all of this, Ive been humbled to appreciate simple
things like a mode of transportation, food, and a bug-free bed. <br />
<br />
On the flip side, weve had a really successful teaching week. I went on
my first exchange with Sis. DeFriez and had some fun. She allowed me to
led and really teach the disscussions which totally helped me see what I
still need to learn from Sis Robertson. It was also transfers and we
are not going anywhere (despite this being my companions 5th transfer
here)!! Were so happy, I cant wait to see what this area can look like
in another 6 weeks.<br />
<br />Holy cow, please pray for our investagator John. His baptism is this
Sunday and he is absolutely solid and golden! He had his interview last
night and it was intense. Haha I felt like a worried parent. I was
pacing everywhere and time was frozen in place! I absolutely cant wait
until Sunday, pray for him. <br />
<br />With all of this excitement of our 5 Filipano investagators, the
relief society threw a Filipano Party in which we feasted on their
INCREDIBLE food, whacked a pig pinata, and our members really went out
of their way to get to know them. Im so grateful for this party. All of
our investagators said they felt like they belonged. I can only wait to
see how this will boast them in their conversion.<br />
<br />
Have an incredible week!! <br />

<div dir="auto">
Hi everyone! <br />
<br />
Another busy week gone! I had my first Zone Conference which I know
understand why people get so excited over it. Its like watching
conference but its based on every aspect of your day, everyday. It was
super good and we talked a lot about how faith=obedience=more faith=
powerful missionary. I came away with even more drive to find people who
are ready for baptism. <br />
<br />
In addition to this crazy extraordinary week, it was Stake Mini
Missionary weekend. I guess once a year the Laurels and Priest Quorom
comes with the missionaries all weekend long! Kinda cool, right? I think
if I went on one before, I would feel so much better about coming out.
It definitely isnt knocking on doors all day (at least not in this
area). It was SO great. We got Missy who is also the Presidents daughter
and shes a powerhouse! Shes got her moms sass and her dads
cheerfulness. We joked off a ton and told stories and got in insight
scoop into the Presidents life. She will be an incredible missionary
next year and I learned a lot from her.<br />
<br />
Funny story so we were done with a lesson when we noticed a family
huddled around the tree, so naturally we started talking to them. Sure
enough their cat is stuck 20 ft. in this tree and they cant get up. Sis
Robertson immediately started "monkey-ing" it and got stuck as well. So
as a combined effort she climbed on my shoulders to the tree to the
cat! It was hilarious, like who else would do that?! Three minutes later
we were walking and a man walks up and asks if we've seen a chicken
whose name was Pot Pie! We laughed and said no. He asked us to keep an
eye out for him. So we secretly went on a chicken hunt while we tracted
in the area, yelling "Pot Pie you here" and making every chicken joke we
could think off :)<br />
<br />
Other awesome story, we get a call from a former investagator named Mama
Musada to help her weed her garden. We showed up and it was a jungle
growing everywhere! 4 foot long weeds covered ever inch with waist long
grass and pokey bushes. My companion and I looked at each other and
laughed. We met Mama Musada who is this 80 yr old Hindu woman who is
missing several teeth. She gave us a rusty rake and we went to work :)
Every two minutes Musada would yell stuff like "You get that weed" and
"Eat your Gatorade" and "I think the cats stuck in the toliet again." It
was so bizarre but very entertaining!<br />
<br />
I love you all and thank you so much for your support and writing to me.
I get super excited when I see them and I appreciate them <div dir="auto">

<div dir="auto">
Hey y'all, <br />
<br />
I can't believe the summer is almost over! I feel like it just started. I hope you all are enjoying your summer vacation. <br />
<br />
This week was full of teaching appointments which I'm so grateful for.
Some of our investigators are really progressing and others.. well I
guess are not ready for the gospel just yet :) I think I'm slowly
understanding why people say missions are hard because you really put so
much time, thought, prayer and emotion into people who turns ya down.
But theyre find the truth eventually. I'm enjoying every twist and turn.
Every lesson is taught differently to every person and you never quite
know what you're walking into :) Weve already have had some really... odd
lessons with odd investigators beliefs that has been quite entertaining
to say the least.<br />
<br />
Yesterday one of our investigators whose been trying to get off work on
Sundays for weeks got to come and we were overjoyed! On one of my first
days, my trainer stopped a Filipino man named John on his bike and we've
been teaching him ever since. He kept showing us his tie hes going to
wear to church and it was a miracle that his boss's heart was soften.<br />
<br />
Now I am a firm believer that God puts people in your path for specific
reasons. We were leaving a nursing home after visiting one of our
investigators when a woman stopped and asked us if we would give a
spiritual message to her dying brother. We were so excited to teach the
Plan of Salvation that we were practically skipping down the hallway
when a worker stops us in our tracks and started freaking out. Luckily
she was a member. She got caught up in an awful controlling relationship
for years and hasn't been anywhere but her home and work. She said the
one thing that kept her going was her faith in the Book of Mormon and
Jesus Christ loves for her. She escaped this relationship a few weeks
ago and has been praying to find the church. We happily gave the address
and now were teaching her the gospel again. It was so powerful to me
that God puts everyone in your life there for a reason but you must talk
to them in order to know why they're put there. I love y'all!! <br />

<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Wow so many great
blessings happened. Sis. Robertson and I sat down and said we don't want
to just be missionaries but we wanted to be legendary missionaries with
big goals fully trusting in God that he will provide a way and sure
enough that was our week. Full of prayers, referrals and lessons and we
had FUN! </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
We were told
that this area was a dead area for months. We are right at the boarders
of Chicago which means there is a third of people below the poverty level
and Id say nearly 75% knows English as a second language. However this
means the people are so humble and willing to believe that God will
bless them. <span style="font-family: sans-serif;">Every street is basically like entering a new country. I feel so blessed.</span> I really feel like I've got the cream of the crop and I can picture this place thriving in the gospel. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
So
far I've learned how to contact people in Taglong, Spanish, ASL and a
bit of Italian. But whats cool is I learned ASL in high school and I've
been able to interpret the sacrament meeting to a Deaf member which has
been awesome. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Cool
miracle, last week people would ask for appointments on Wednesday but I
kept feeling like something was on that day so we would change days. I
was so surprise when Wednesday came and we had nothing to do but find!
Sure enough we were contacting and met Melanie who wasn't doing anything
so we toured her around the church building and the Spirit was super
strong. In the middle of the tour, a member called and ask if we could
met his old medical professor who's going through a hard time and the
only time he could was tonight!! After that dinner we got a Book of
Mormon referral (those are the best) and met a Filipino couple who is
searching for modern revelation! We got 5 new investigators in one day
all thanks to the Lord preparing these people!! </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Other
amazing blessing, we went to church after inviting several of our
investigators to come but really only expected two to be there. We
showed up and there were 7 all willing to stay and the ward members were
jumping all over making sure they felt welcome and loved. It was so
beautiful, were going to have a crazy next week but are goal is to
average 3 lessons a day. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
I
cant believe how much the Lord has blessed us and Im filled with his
joy. When were willing to give ourselves to God, he can perform mighty
miracles that will go above and beyond our expectations. Have a great
week! </div>

<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Happy Pioneer Day!
Man today our train stopped and we waited for two hours so I'm running
out of time to email so I'll make this fast. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
This
week flew by! Holy cow! We were running from Bible referrals to finding
to teaching back and forth all week. It's been really powerful and so
,any miracles keep coming! It's so cool! </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
First
cool story (and it will probably sound way more exaggerated then it
actually was). We unwisely did not bring water bottles and we were racing
across town for Bible referrals for about 5 hours in 90 degree heat and
high humidity. Also I had crash my bike twice and my right leg was
bleeding down the side of my leg (fun fact you cant catch yourself if
you wear pencil skirts). In addition an older man named Cierco started
chastising and yelling at us for being fake Christians and my trainer
wouldnt leave (remember him hes important later) for a long time. Anyway
were dehydrated, hot, I'm bleeding, and I keep praying if we are
actually genuine and sincere in sharing the gospel. Finally we stopped
at a McDonalds and get free water (huge blessing). A man walks up and
says "You know it could be worse." And started telling us story about
biking 30 miles everyday as a taxi biker to fed his children. Then he
said we were the most genuinely nice people. Then got on the subject
about our religion and actually set up an appointment. I truly know that
God cares about all of us and he personally answered my prayer through
that man at McDonald's. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Now
back to Cierco. I had no love for this man but my trainer decided to
call him anyway. Sure enough he picks up and started to rebuke us
again... but then he pauses and says sisters I had a dream about you two
last night. And I know that you talked to me for a reason and I want to
know why. Through the power of the Spirit I felt so much love for this
man and interpreted his dream. We've now been teaching him for the past
two days and its been a huge miracle and eye opening experience. I'm so
glad God sent him to us and he listen. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
I
love this gospel so much, and I love seeing miracles every day. I hope
you all see them in your own life and have a wonderful week! </div>

<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Holy cow I can't
believe I'm actually here! I was pretty sad leaving the MTC but super
excited to learn and apply what I've learned to the people here. And holy
cow I was humbled really fasted. Missionary life is different than I
imagined -for better and for worst. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
My
first day was amazing! We got up at 3 AM and caught our flight in which
at the airport we were treating like celebrities. There were people
staring and offering us their phones to call from, and even buying us
breakfast. Super cool and grateful but the second we came to Chicago it
was the exact opposite. It was hilarious! We took a train downtown to
see the Bean and famous skyscrapers which was so cool and high and we
were also able to pass along a Book of Mormon too! I was so happy. Later
that night we ate deep dish pizza and accidentally started a mini fire
in the mission home (super funny, totally the Presidents fault and
nothing was damaged except pizza) then met our trainers. One of the best
days ever. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
I got super
lucky and I'm serving in the Chicago 1st ward which is about 2 train
stops from the heart of the city and 3 stops away from the airport. Its
awesome! Ive already met someone who immigrated here from every
continent twice now. Its super diverse but also pretty poor. Ive never
truly realize how bless I am to know English, have a nice home and be
able to go to college. Theres every type of religion here too so people
are really open to sharing beliefs and sometimes arguing their beliefs
too.</div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
My trainer is Sis
Robertson whose very overly perky and incredible at contacting! She talks
more to other people than me which is super cool. We are white washing
the area and the old Elders never used Areabook either which I guess is
super stressful. Haha were also in an 17 yr old Elders apartment! I've
never gagged so much in my life! It's been hilarious what we've found. I
love it here</div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Oo and were
in the only sister biking area in the mission which has been an
adventure. A cool miracle that happened, we needed to get me a bike
because walking takes forever. So we called some members and no one had
bikes so I figured Id have to pay my <span class="money">$125</span> for
a bike Ill only use for a few transfers. The day we were going to buy
one we had an appointment (who cancelled) a member called offering to
not only give us her really nice mountain bike, but to also deliver it
to us in time for our appointment! It was a huge tender mercy. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Anyway I love you all, I'm going to walk around a Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier. Have a wonderful week :) </div>

<div dir="auto">
Hey y'all :) <div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Yep
my P day is on Tuesday and its been a very VERY great week. I truly
love the MTC. Everyone here is super positive, a bit stressed but happy
and the Spirit can be found everywhere! The teachers are amazing and
really can relate to you.</div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif;">This
week is also super special because they just opened a new MTC building
(its gorgeous!) And my district is some of the lucky few who has classes
in there. And because it just barely opened we've been told that every
apostle will be on campus this week!!! How cool is that?! I'm truly
blessed and my companion and I are always on the hunt to see one. </span></div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
My
companion is from Louisiana and her name is Sis. Bonham and she
actually was next door neighbors to our mission president. Crazy. Shes
super kind, sorta reserved but very competitive and driven. Shes really
good and teaching the doctrine and I love applying it to today's world
and share experiences. We work really well together. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Ooo
speaking about teaching, I absolutely love it! It reminds me so much of
performing in Marching Band. You plan, prepare, pray then get super
nervous right before. Then it works out great and you feel so much love while we talk to our investigators, then you just want to sleep
afterwards. I love it! At the MTC they're having us teach 3 investigators
45 min lessons every day. Its nuts but super satisfying.</div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
I
must admit though I had a huge humbling experience with an
investigator. She told us super personal information and that her
brother had recently died and start to cry. I had no idea what to do
except pray and cry with her. In a shaky voice I bore my testimony and
the room was so full of love and pain. I really am looking forward to
helping her but man it will take a lot of preparation. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Whats
also crazy is on Sunday my companion and I were called as Sister
Training Leaders which makes us responsible for helping 20 sisters and
fit their needs. We are in charge of orientations, interviewing,
conducting and helping those who are sick or discourage, etc. Ive truly
been humbled but I love the girls already and we have 12 more coming
tomorrow! So pumped for them. </div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
<br /></div>
<div dir="auto">
Anyways I've got to go to go sing for Elder Bednar tonight. I love you all so much. Have a wonderful week!!! </div>
